The stripes are just something I've been considering, they're not expensive, not permanent, I can tape them in place or even install and peel off if I don't like them. The one thing I do like about them is they are a very period correct add on. Of course if they are NLA the point is moot.
I'm planning to try and make the January Meeting, I haven't been to one for a while I used to be a regular at the meetings back in the '90s until life caught up with and hogtied me.
