JH ratio for the 4 speed 3.727:1 5 speed 3.45:1. per manual.

The work Viva shop manual I have does not cover the 1800 just the 1159cc to 1256cc, 1970 to 1977, but it does show the same rear axle that is fitted to the JH, standard ratio is 4.125:1 a sport version 3.89:1, there was some talk in the past that a limited slip version was also available but very rare and desirable. JH ratio for the 4 speed 3.727:1 5 speed 3.45:1. per manual. Brett
