It's probably has a fouled plug or missing electrically. try pulling the plugs and looking for a fouled plug. If you have stock points ignition the plugs will foul easily if mixture / timing aren't right. Electronic ignition / hotter spark is a worthwhile upgrade on this car. Cars of this era prior to electronic ignition had to be tuned up with new plugs and points quite regularly. If and when you get it running on all four it may smoke even worse if the rings are shot. good luck dan
