 OIL PAN GASKET - last engine tear down I got some gasket material from NAPA and cut my own. It never leaked. Since you still can't buy one (at least from Delta), I was wondering if folks are going with Loctite 518 or some other "gasket-less" option that works well?

WELLSEAL - Since it is costly to buy in the USA, is Permatex Aviation #3 (which seems to exceed WELLSEAL specs and 1/3 the cost) an equivalent substitute or is there a better option where the repair manual calls for WELLSEAL?
