The original brake lines from the factory will seem tight at a full lock, it looks ugly, but it's functional I suppose. Your steering system won't turn quite that tight on the road. However, I've noticed that there are some cheapo, rubber, generic Chinese made brake lines floating around out there which are too short and could theoretically wear out prematurely. I would avoid those. The stainless steel lines for sale in the club store are made longer that the original factory lines to alleviate this problem.
