Installing a smaller fuse will NOT cause the circuit to draw less current, btw.

Ordinary automotive relays have a coil resistance of appr. 90 ohms, meaning that they draw less than 150mA from the control circuit. You have nothing to worry about. Installing a smaller fuse will NOT cause the circuit to draw less current, btw. -- Joachim
