 Is the new battery fully charged, it could have been sitting on the shelf for a while, try giving the battery a jump start, does that make it turn over faster

How much power are you getting to the starter when cranking ..... have you cleaned up your wiring connections plus the grounds .....

Does it turn over at the same rate with the car in neutral,  or faster with the clutch depressed.
